Inclusion & environment
The special educational needs coordinator works in partnership with parents and other agencies, ensuring children receive necessary support through accurate assessments and identified learning targets. Staff are aware of strategies for children needing extra help, but sometimes children who struggle to communicate do not always receive consistent support.
Staff recently organised the garden so that children could play football with a new goal. This creates a sense of belonging and self-worth.
I honestly can’t recommend this nursery enough. All three of my children have been here — my two oldest who are now 8 and 7, and now my little girl who has just started at 3. She has never been left with anyone before, so I was really anxious about how she would cope and truly didn’t think she would settle easily at all. But within just two sessions, she was settled, happy and comfortable, which honestly says everything. The women who work here are absolutely amazing — so kind, patient, and genuinely caring. You can tell they truly love what they do and care about every child as an individual. They’ve been incredibly supportive, reassuring and understanding, not just with my children but with me as a parent too. It feels like such a safe, nurturing environment, and I’ve always had complete trust in them over the years. I’m so grateful to have had all my children grow and start their journey here — it really does feel like a second family.
Read on GoogleMy son has been attending this nursery since he just turned one, and I honestly could not fault anything. From each stage of his development he has been well looked after and cared for in the appropriate way. The nursery staff have always been friendly and approachable and encourage children to be individuals whilst providing a safe and happy environment. The nursery has an impressive outdoor area which allows children to play outside, and they also provide theme days so the children can be involved in more creative activity’s. My son has been able to create excellent relationships with staff and the children and is always happy to attend. It’s very rare you would see a child upset at drop off and I believe this is because the nursery provides a happy environment for all children. I couldn’t thank the nursery enough as my child is always happy, has a good understanding of kind and appropriate behaviours and has developed within his key stages in preparation for school.
Read on GoogleLovely facilities in a beautiful setting. The staff are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and supportive and my daughter is thriving here! We've seen such a huge change in her since starting here, especially with regards to her speech and socialising with both adults and children. I cannot thank them enough for all the hard work they put in, putting my mind at ease when leaving my daughter and providing an enjoyable and enriching environment for her; so much so that she wants to stay and play when we come to pick her up! I wouldn't think of going anywhere else and would recommend to anyone!
Read on GoogleMy child attended here and it was a fantastic school she was in the process of being diagnosed with autism and her SEN teacher Kelly and staff were phenomenal the progress she made from the time she walked in, until the time she left was drastic! I have a little one and I plan on using this nursery again.
