Inclusion & environment
Staff successfully tailor the curriculum for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Therefore, children with SEND progress well across all areas of learning. Staff spend any additional funding effectively to help close gaps in children's learning.
Children move with confidence throughout the environment. They choose whether they would like to spend time playing inside or outside. Staff provide children with a range of opportunities for reading, both inside and outside. For example, in the garden, children sit on cushions, looking at books in a cosy tent.
I am so incredibly happy that my son attends Windmills Preschool Ltd. He has been there for a year and a term now and is thriving, and I could not wish for a happier setting for him to begin his educational journey in. The staff are professional, approachable, knowledgeable and friendly; the setting is beautifully light and airy and always full of laughter and busy-ness! When my son leaves to attend primary school in the autumn term this year, my young daughter will start, and I am looking forward to seeing her enjoy her preschool years at Windmills too. I would recommend Windmills Preschool to any parent.
Read on GoogleI have had one child who attended Windmills before starting primary school and one there currently and it is amazing how well this little pre-school caters for different personalities. My first child was confident and self assured and loved Windmills. My second child is really shy and yet goes off to pre-school with a big smile and really enjoys the activities. The setting is light and airy and full of fun things to engage in. The staff are happy and smiling and really dedicated, you can tell they love the children. I would definitely recommend Windmills to anyone planning on sending their child to pre-school from the Bembridge area.
