Wing Wildlings Nursery offers a distinctive early years education that prioritises nature-based learning and outdoor adventures. Situated within Wing Hall and Wing Hall Farm, the nursery provides children aged 9 months to 4 years with daily opportunities to explore farm life and participate in forest school sessions.
The curriculum is deeply rooted in Forest School principles, encouraging children to take charge of their own learning, fostering curiosity, and promoting physical and emotional development through hands-on experiences in a natural setting. The nursery boasts dedicated indoor spaces for different age groups, along with secure courtyards, a kitchen garden, and a small woodland area, all designed to inspire independence and creativity.
Children regularly interact with farm animals, engage in pond dipping, and learn about fire safety in a designated fire area. This unique approach aims to cultivate a lifelong love for learning, environmental stewardship, and strong social skills within a supportive community.
