Wingate Childcare in Nature

About this day nursery

Wingate Childcare offers care and education for young children aged three months to five years, operating with the same guiding principles as Wingate Nursery School, which centre on a child's fundamental right to a positive and fulfilling childhood experience. Recognising that this setting may be a child's initial foray beyond their immediate family, the day nursery is committed to delivering an exceptionally high standard of care.

They strive to create a secure, welcoming, and familiar environment that encourages children to engage in play, exploration, communication, learning, and shared enjoyment. The childcare facility is seamlessly integrated with Wingate Nursery School, with both organisations collaborating closely.

The company is overseen by a Board of Directors. Their core objective is to cultivate a happy, safe, and nurturing atmosphere that promotes children's overall well-being.

They aim to provide diverse, hands-on, and meaningful experiences designed to foster new knowledge and skills, ensuring all activities are relevant and tailored to children's interests and ideas.

Our ethos

Our intention is to provide a happy, safe and nurturing environment that strengthens the wellbeing of children. We aim to provide our children with a variety of hands on, meaningful experiences which in turn develop into new knowledge and skills. We ensure all experiences are meaningful and follow children's interests and value their ideas.
