SEND provision

Staff act promptly if children are behind expected development, liaising with parents and putting in place additional support. Staff work diligently to ensure children can reach their potential, including those in receipt of additional funding and children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.

This is such a lovely pre school. As a first-time Mum in the area, I joined the free baby and toddler groups run in one of the rooms. I got to know the setting and staff and since then, all 3 of my children have attended at the Greenfield site in both the 2-3 year olds room and the 3-4s. The staff are highly-experienced and incredibly nurturing. They do everything they can to support the children, be it learning, language, social skills or emotional well-being. I have always felt happy leaving my children in their capable hands. My children have always come out beaming and chatting about everything they have done. They have so much fun and mine particularly enjoy all of the exciting outdoor learning and forest school sessions. They will be sad to leave here when they go to school. It has given them all a great pre school learning experience.

I cannot recommend this preschool highly enough! My son started in the 2-3's room which was just the right size and so welcoming. After he turned three, and was ready, he moved up to the bigger 3+ room and loved it just as much. The staff are so experienced so I never had any worries about leaving him. They are really invested in the children and it shows in the care they provide. It is a charity so I never felt that making money was the main thing for them. It also means they run free baby and toddler groups which I'm making good use of now with my second child. I can't wait for her to be old enough to join the preschool! The links with both local primary schools are very strong so once your child knows which one they will go to they do really useful visits during the preschool day to help them settle. My son thought he'd just moved up a room in the preschool it was so seamless!

My son is very happy here. Especially being outside for forest school. The staff in the rooms are experienced and dedicated and Sam in the office goes above and beyond to make sure everything is in hand.
