Wmb Born2win Day Nursery, established in 2019, operates Monday to Friday all year round, closing only for public holidays and one week over Christmas. Sessions run from 7:30 am to 6 pm, catering for children aged 0-4 years.
The nursery received a "Good" rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 24 May 2023. Children at Wmb Born2win develop trusting relationships with staff and peers, fostering a sense of happiness, security, and safety.
The curriculum is designed to impart knowledge and cultivate a positive attitude towards learning. For instance, babies engage in "music and stretch" sessions to encourage movement, while older children enjoy exuberant outdoor play, developing coordination and core muscles.
The nursery is actively enhancing its outdoor play area to further support learning. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive tailored support through individual plans and targets.
Staff, with assistance from external professionals, adapt targets and the curriculum to ensure children with SEND achieve well. The nursery also effectively supports children who speak English as an additional language (EAL).
Staff teach numerous nursery rhymes, which has proven effective, and many staff members are bilingual, allowing them to communicate with new EAL children in their home language before gradually introducing English. This approach helps children settle in and gain confidence.
The nursery also excels in promoting children's personal development, with carefully planned transitions, such as key workers staying with babies as they move to the toddler room to ensure they feel settled.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) have individual plans and targets. As a result, staff are able to focus precisely on what children need to learn. With the help of outside professionals, staff are able to adapt targets and make changes to the curriculum. This helps children with SEND achieve well.
Older children run exuberantly in the fresh air, which helps them to develop their coordination and core muscles. They also demonstrate a can-do attitude as they are challenged to throw hoops onto the big climbing frame. The nursery is currently developing the outdoor play area to help maximise children's learning.
Staff teach children lots of nursery rhymes, which works particularly well for children who speak English as an additional language (EAL). Staff also speak several languages, which works very well for new children who speak EAL. Staff speak to new children in their home language and gradually expose them to English as they settle.
I can’t express how lovely and welcoming this nursery is, the staff have done an amazing job supporting my daughter who had a late start, she settled very quickly and absolutely loved coming into nursery from just 2 months in. The staff go above and beyond, you can see the efforts everyone puts into the children, the play rooms , activities etc, and even the cleanliness of the nursery is always impeccable. I had worries at first but I was reassured from week one and instantly knew we picked the right nursery, she has thrived as an individual and I can’t thank born2win enough!
