The nursery is inclusive and strives to meet the needs of all children and their families, with adult-to-child ratios of 1:6 for children over three and 1:4 for those under three, ensuring individual attention. They believe parents are the primary educators of their young children and aim to support them, encouraging parental involvement through family days and volunteering opportunities.

The nursery is committed to enhancing the development and education of pre-school children in a safe, secure, and stimulating setting, offering individual care, fun, and friendship. They provide flexibility for parents with full and part-day options, and their experienced team includes a Nursery Manager, Room Leader, SENCO, and various Early Years Practitioners, all trained to a minimum of NVQ Level 2 with current First-Aid certificates.

They are experienced in working with professionals to support children with special needs. The nursery is open all year, excluding Christmas week, Bank Holidays, and occasional inset days.

What it's like

Leaders and managers have a clear vision for the early years curriculum they provide to enable all children to gain the key skills they need to move on to school. They give priority to ensuring that children gain emotional stability when they start at the setting. Staff conduct home visits, where they meet the child and their parents and gather important information to provide tailor-made care for the children when they start nursery.

Pricing & funding

Fees are payable weekly or monthly in advance throughout the year, including during child holidays and sickness. No fees apply for bank holidays or the Christmas week closure. Funded hours are subject to an hourly consumable charge, with extra hours billed at a flat hourly rate.
