About this day nursery

Wonder Barn is a new nursery, slated to open in Spring 2025, located in the charming, rural setting of Green Tye, a brief journey from Bishops Stortford. Founded by two highly experienced Early Years Teachers with over four decades of combined expertise in education, the nursery aims to provide a unique and enriching play-based learning environment.

The founders believe in fostering advanced skills and knowledge, ensuring children are well-prepared for their transition to school and future academic success. The nursery features an expansive 2-acre outdoor area, allowing children to engage with nature and interact with various farm animals including chickens, ducks, and geese.

This approach promotes holistic development and inclusive learning experiences. Wonder Barn prioritises creating a warm, secure, and happy "home from home" atmosphere where each child's individuality is celebrated, and learning is facilitated through meaningful play guided by skilled staff.

The nursery offers childcare for children aged 0-5 years, operating from 8 am to 4 pm, with a limited number of spaces for children under two. Understanding diverse family needs, Wonder Barn provides term-time-only options, with flexible "pay as you go" holiday care to offer convenience and cost savings.
