The nursery prides itself on its dedicated long-serving staff, many of whom have been with the nursery for over 15 years, fostering a warm and familiar atmosphere where children feel secure and parents are reassured.

The team, with their extensive early years qualifications, is passionate about creating enriching learning experiences through play, exploration, and guidance.

Wonderland Daycare Nursery emphasises strong partnerships with families, supporting children through every stage of their nursery journey. The nursery also offers freshly prepared, home-cooked, healthy meals daily, with an option for parents to provide packed lunches.

Additionally, a spacious outdoor garden provides daily opportunities for children to explore, play, and learn outdoors. The nursery caters to different age groups in specifically designed rooms: "Dormice" for babies (up to 9), offering a calm and nurturing environment; "White Rabbits" for 2-3 year olds (up to 15), focusing on developing confidence, independence, and social skills; and "Cheshire Cats" for pre-schoolers (up to 21), preparing them for school through stimulating activities that build literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, and social skills.

What it's like

Staff are warm and caring and gather detailed information about children on entry, supporting confidence and social development. The play-based approach and staff interactions support early communication, physical development and children's exploration.

Pricing & funding

Charges are structured as daily rates based on age bands (under twos, and two to five year olds). The nursery operates term-time only for 38 weeks a year. Funded sessions have set hours, with any additional hours billed at an hourly rate, and meals charged separately unless a packed lunch is provided.
