Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents comment about the strong bonds their children have with staff, enabling them to settle well at the nursery.
They report that this helps them to understand more about children's development and to have time to interact with staff and children engaging in creative play, such as at the Halloween workshop.
Inclusion & environment
The curriculum is ambitious for all children, including those learning more than one language and those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. This enables all children to make the progress they are capable of.
Children delight in exploring the outdoor environment and being physically active. They show a keen interest in nature and talk with staff about caring for living creatures. However, staff do not always plan for outdoor play as well as they do indoors, which does not build further on children's skills and learning in the outdoor area.
We couldn’t be happier with the nursery and the staff. They have been super helpful and supportive from the very beginning. Our son has special educational needs which they helped us identify from an early age. They supported us through the whole process. Most importantly, our son loves the place and the staff and enjoys the healthy nutritious meals which actually encouraged him to be more adventurous at home too. Thank you to everyone for all that you’ve done, it’s made a world of difference for us as a family
Read on GoogleOur daughter has been at bright horizons worthing since January and loves attending. The staff are kind, efficient and encouraging. The nursery offers a wide range of activities and her development and confidence have grown. The setting is well equipped and clean, and children benefit from large spaces for art, experiments and learning through play. The garden is huge and also very well equipped. Thank you bright horizons!
Read on GoogleMy daughter started at Greatsaurus in July after us relocating and she (and we) absolutely adore this nursery! The manager and deputy manager are so full of energy, ideas and passion. The nursery workers and our daughter's key worker are incredible with her, and she has progressed so much in just a few short months. The communication with parents is consistently excellent and we are given the opportunity to come in and participate during workshops. They are all so knowledgeable, caring and our daughter loves telling us about the different activities and local trips they have done. It is always clean and the different rooms provide a varied environment for her. Could not be happier with this nursery.
