How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are supported well. Staff use observations and assessments to identify learning and development gaps, working closely with parents to seek additional support. Simple sign language and pictorial cards are used to help children with SEND communicate their needs and emotions, and these are shared with parents to continue support at home.

Outdoor space

Children benefit from plenty of time outside being active. Older children complete pictorial risk assessments before going outside. Children enjoy using wheeled toys, manoeuvring around objects and peers confidently, and have space to run around, which supports the development of their large-muscle skills. Children enjoy exploring the garden, identifying sounds and searching for birds.

My overall experience was not very good although that some staff members were nice and lovely, and the outdoor place is good. My 3-year-old twins (boy and girl) went to this nursery for around 1-2 months last year (2 full days a week just to break the ice before attending full time), my girl started to wet herself quite often (although was clean for a whole year with very little accidents), and my son refused to go to nursery after a couple of sessions and would cry hysterically when it's time to go there (He usually LOVES to go nurseries). Also, one day I went to drop off my daughter and the nursery was empty, after minutes of waiting (with another 2 families) one of the housekeepers went out to advise us that it's teachers' training day and no one is there at the minute, we were never informed. I emailed to clarify about this and to enquire about some expenses but never had a response.

Brilliant staff, my daughter is always so happy whenever I drop her off and excited to talk about her day when I pick her up. She settled in brilliantly and she loves the garden and outdoor facilities.

My daughter is almost 2 years old and loves it here. She is always excited to go to nursery and is happy at the end of a long day. It is a very busy nursery but has a lovely atmosphere and great staff.
