About this day nursery

Zizus Day Care is an independent nursery in Middlesbrough, founded in 2016 by Maaz Rahman, who sought to create flexible childcare options after his wife's passing. The nursery is named after his son, Zain, and moved to a new setting in Linthorpe in 2022, boasting an inspiring space with a magical garden for forest school activities and outdoor exploration.

Zizus prioritises continuous professional development for its team, ensuring high-quality care, and all staff are paediatric first aid qualified and working towards relevant childcare qualifications. The nursery is committed to building strong relationships with children and families, fostering each child's full potential socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.

They offer adventurous experiences to stimulate curiosity, celebrate diversity, and create an inspiring environment for learning and growth, all while providing flexible childcare solutions to accommodate busy families.
