The latest Ofsted inspection, on 22 September 2022, rated the nursery as 'Good' in all areas. Children are eager to attend, with parents noting their children do not wave goodbye, keen instead to meet friends and begin their learning.
The outdoor environment is cherished by older children, who joyfully tackle obstacle courses, demonstrating determination and problem-solving by moving crates and planks without adult intervention. Children show high levels of respect, sharing resources and welcoming others into their play, which fosters their self-esteem.
The management and staff are skilled in supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, working collaboratively with parents and other agencies to provide necessary assistance. Staff are adept at fostering communication and language development from a young age, extending vocabulary by speaking clearly at children's level and consistently describing actions.
The nursery also cultivates a love for books, supporting children's emotional well-being by reading to them and encouraging them to bring books to staff. Parents are highly complimentary of the nursery, particularly highlighting the significant development in their children's confidence and independence since joining.
