About this day nursery

Happy Little Sunbeams Day Nursery, located in Middlesbrough, has been providing childcare since 2018 for children aged 0-6 years. 30am to 6pm during term-time, the nursery prides itself on children settling quickly due to the friendly staff.

The nursery has developed a curriculum that covers all areas of learning, though its implementation can be inconsistent. Parents are happy with the support and care their children receive, often remarking that their children enjoy attending and that staff share daily updates on their child's activities.

The nursery places importance on supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), working closely with parents and external bodies to ensure individual needs are met through additional funding. Leaders have designed a curriculum to foster confidence and independence, and they act as positive role models for their team.

The nursery also provides a range of opportunities to support children's physical development, both indoors and outdoors. While strategies are in place to support children who speak English as an additional language, their consistent application and full use of available resources are areas for development.

My daughter has been attending Happy Little Sunbeams since she was 9 months old and will be turning 4 in March. The nursery is a lovely place and my child is loved and safe. All the staff there are so welcoming and helpful and they always have a smile on there face. My child has learnt such much while attending the nursery even advanced stuff such as sign language at such a young age. The nursery is very big on outdoor play which i love and they make sure the children experience alot off things over time not just your normal nursery stuff. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyway looking for amazing childcare, you will not be disappointed!.

We’ve had a really positive experience with Happy Little Sunbeam Nursery in Middlesbrough. The arrangements and daily organisation are excellent, and the whole setting feels warm, safe, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The staff are friendly, caring, and clearly passionate about what they do, which gives us great peace of mind as parents. Most importantly, my daughter is always happy and excited to go to nursery. She often comes home chatting and telling us stories about what she did in class, which shows how engaged and comfortable she feels there. It’s lovely to see how much she’s learning and growing. We’re very pleased with the nursery and would definitely recommend it to other parents.

After visiting a few nurseries, I chose Happy Little Sunbeams and I'm so glad I did From my first visit, the nursery felt welcoming and warm, with a lovely clean and bright environment. My daughter loves coming here as she is always ready to go and has really thrived since joining. Her speech and confidence have improved loads, which makes me super happy. The staff are always friendly and chatty, keeping me updated on her day, activities, and even what she's eaten. They also take the kids on fun trips to places like the park and other public areas, which is amazing as they learn how road saftey aswell. Whenever i see the manager in the nursery, she is always talkative and happy towards me and my daughter, making me feel like I have made the best choice sending my child here. The manager is always very active and alert around the children, which makes me feel so happy as I think it's important for children as well as they feel safe and we feel safe sending our daughter to Happy Little Sunbeams nursery. My 2 Years old son starts next month and we are super excited to send our second child here. Happy Little Sunbeams feels like a great place for my children and we feel comfortable sending our children to this nursery. I would definitely recommend Happy Little Sunbeams to my family and friends. I would always rate Happy Little Sunbeams a 5stars 🙂

I would highly recommend happy little sunbeams to all parents looking for childcare, this is the most amazing nursery. This starts with Alison and her team. They are all so caring for all children and families and are clearly passionate about providing the best possible care for the children with such high standards. My children have had so many amazing opportunities from meeting animals, trips to Redcar, meeting the police and fire men and women, going to the care home and so much more my child has come home teaching me Makaton signs, teaching me about the caterpillars they have cared for until they released them into the world. and all about plants they have grew, foods they have baked. Honestly I cant recommend this nursery enough. I am going to be forever grateful for the learning my child has received from Happy little sunbeams nursery. The most amazing foundation to higher learning. If I had the choice to keep my child here instead of going to school I would have kept him there that is for sure. So again anyone looking for a nursery setting I can assure you, you wouldn’t regret your choice choosing happy little sunbeams and you could leave your child knowing they would be as happy lived and as safe as they would be at home with you but have so many more opportunities to play, thrive and learn.
