Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders ensure staff consider what they want children to learn during activities, which helps children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) to make good progress. Parents of children with SEND value the impact the nursery has had on their child's development at home.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy spending time outside in the nursery's garden in the fresh air, where they have the chance to further progress their physical development; for example, they climb or ride on bicycles and play games with friends and staff.

EAL / language support

The nursery promotes communication: when children speak more than one language, staff learn key words in their home languages and use sign language to support children's understanding while they develop spoken English.

Over the years, I've entrusted all four of my children to this nursery, watching them grow from infancy to 10 years old under its care. The exceptional management by the dedicated manager has fostered an impressive team of highly qualified professionals. This nursery goes above and beyond by offering a wide range of educational activities. The only thing I wish they provided was lunch. As a mother, I've truly appreciated the unwavering support they've provided during challenging moments, including flexible hours and invaluable assistance with potty training. Now, my youngest child is attending, and the seamless transition into the nursery environment speaks volumes. Babies are the most genuine judges of their surroundings, and the fact that my baby settled in so quickly is a testament to the nurturing and quality care provided here. It's heartening to witness my child's happiness, as it reflects the nursery's excellence in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our little ones.

My child has not long left the nursery and had been attending for a couple of years. Could not praise the setting and staff for everything they do. My child thrived in this nursery and the staff are warm, welcoming to children and parents and deal with any questions in a professional way. The provide an amazing breakfast and after school club which is full of fun, interactive activities for all the children to learn and progress from. A summer club is also provide which My child attends a few days a week and this has been a god send as means I'm still able to work during half term and knowing my children is in very safe hands. Keep up the good work nothing but praise.

My daughter has been going to A Star Kids Nursery and she loves it. The staff are incredibly lovely and patient with the infants. I have full confidence in them when I leave my little one in the mornings. Great learning place. I couldn’t have chosen a better nursery.

My twins just finished at A star, from start to finish the team were fantastic with them. They helped both my girls become more confident and lots of wonderful memories for them. Whilst the entire team were brilliant both Chloe and Iris really helped one of my girls who was a took a lot more work to get comfortable in nursery so my wife and I will forever be grateful to the work and passion showed. Thank you 👍

Extremely pleased with how quickly both of my kids settled in and how flexible the nursery is with adding more days in with short notice. Staff is lovely and my kids formed strong bonds with each one of them. The progress made is also very noticeable and their skillset keeps improving in all areas. Totally recommend!
