Little Learners Nursery & Preschool, established in 2015, provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Operated by the charity LifeLine Projects, with over 15 years of experience in early years, the nursery aims to offer high-quality childcare that mirrors what parents desire for their own children.

The nursery focuses on learning through play, fostering confidence and a love for learning through engaging, age-appropriate activities tailored to children's interests. They boast two locations in Elm Park, both equipped with excellent facilities, dedicated rooms for various age groups, and nutritious home-cooked meals prepared by an in-house chef.

The committed and qualified staff ensure a warm, friendly, and supportive atmosphere, promoting emotional, social, and educational development. The nursery also prioritises strong parent-nursery partnerships, utilising the ParentZone app to keep families updated on their child's progress and daily activities.

Pricing & funding

Fees are charged at a flat daily rate for children aged 3 months to 5 years, covering a full day from 7:30am to 6:00pm. The standard fee includes meals, milk, nappies, consumables, and activities. Funded places are available, with itemised weekly charges for food, consumables, and extra-curriculars.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Effective arrangements are in place for identifying children's specific abilities. Staff work well with other agencies to ensure children's individual needs are met. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported well and additional funding is sought to ensure inclusion for all children.

Outdoor space

Children move freely outdoors as they play and learn in the well-resourced garden. They learn about limits, boundaries and challenge in their play. Children run, jump and ride wheeled toys. They develop their fine motor skills, explore natural materials and role play in the mud kitchen. They engage in messy play as they cook with mud, water and kitchen equipment.
