Clip Clop Day Nursery in Newmarket, rated Good by Ofsted on 12 December 2024, provides all-year childcare for children aged 0-7 years. 30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and also supports families with breakfast and after-school care.
Children arrive happy and quickly settle into play thanks to staff who get to know each child well and follow their home routines. The nursery offers a balanced curriculum focused on communication skills, emotional literacy, and physical development.
Staff use clear language and Makaton sign language to support vocabulary and communication. They also use a book of the week to inspire learning and engage children with stories.
Support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is effective, with staff working closely with outside professionals and parents to ensure individual learning needs are met and children make good progress. Children benefit from daily access to the outdoors, where older children engage in team activities like parachute games, while younger children enjoy library song and rhyme sessions to support early language development.
Parents appreciate the flexible care provided, which accommodates individual family circumstances.

As a result, all children are making good progress in their learning from their individual starting points.
Children benefit from daily access to the outside environment. Older children learn to work as a team as they play parachute games, lifting the parachute up and down to try and get coloured balls through the holes.
