About this day nursery

Addingham Ducklings, also known as Addingham Pre-School, is dedicated to fostering a love for learning in young children within a supportive and engaging environment. The preschool operates during term-time, aligning with Addingham Primary School's schedule, offering flexible sessions to accommodate various family needs.

Children can join the pre-school up to two years before they start primary school. The setting boasts a stimulating atmosphere with natural light, large windows, and views of green fields and Beamsley Beacon.

It features three accessible play areas that seamlessly connect to a private outdoor space, including access to a large school playground. As a registered charity, Addingham Ducklings is deeply integrated into the local community, with a parent committee actively involved in fundraising and decision-making.

The pre-school also prioritises individualised care through a key worker system and provides dedicated support for children with Special Educational Needs by working closely with families and other agencies.
