About this day nursery

Angmering Day Nursery, established in 2006 by owner Juliet, is set within a charming 1920s detached home in the tranquil village of Angmering. The nursery distinguishes itself by operating independently, not as part of a larger chain, which allows it to prioritise a child-centred approach over profit.

It offers exceptional care and education for children aged 2-5 years, maintaining consistently high standards and boasts excellent Ofsted ratings. The nursery operates Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm, for 51 weeks of the year.

It provides a stimulating environment, including a spacious garden for exploration and a 'Mini Farm' where children engage in growing fruits and vegetables and caring for small animals. Meals are home-cooked, nutritious, and tailored for young children, with careful consideration for dietary needs.

The dedicated team focuses on providing a high staff-to-child ratio, ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere. The nursery embraces a flexible approach to early years learning, taking inspiration from various educational theories to create a personalised experience for each unique child.

They are celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2026, marking two decades of commitment to early childhood development.
