The curriculum places a strong emphasis on physical development, promoting a 'can-do' attitude in babies learning to walk and strengthening hand muscles in older children through activities like manipulating play dough.

Staff also promote a love of reading from a young age, with babies snuggling with their key person for stories and engaging in back-and-forth interactions. There is a consistent routine that helps children understand expectations and regulate their behaviour, and children's emotional development is nurtured as they are taught to express their feelings effectively.

Partnership with parents is a key strength, with regular communication about children's development and suggestions for at-home play experiences to support continued learning. The setting has successfully addressed previous inspection actions, particularly in safer sleeping procedures, leading to improvements in children's safety and well-being.

Ateres Elisheva Daycare was rated 'Good' in its overall effectiveness, quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management during its last inspection on 2 November 2023, having improved from a previous 'Requires Improvement' rating.
