Badger Farm Pre-School Playgroup offers an enriching Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, featuring a diverse range of play-based activities and learning opportunities for children aged two to school entry. Situated within the Community Centre, the playgroup benefits from access to a sports hall for physical activities and an all-weather outdoor play area equipped with various amenities.
The dedicated team consists of experienced and qualified staff members who maintain high staff-to-child ratios: 1:6 for three and four-year-olds and 1:4 for two-year-olds, ensuring personalised attention and support for each child. The playgroup proudly operates an open-door policy, inviting prospective families to visit and observe the setting in action.
It also accepts government funding for both two and three-year-old children, making quality early education accessible to a wider community.

Children have access to fresh air and exercise. Staff provide opportunities for children to improve their physical development. Children enthusiastically explore the outside environment and use different-sized pegs to hang up letters on a line, which strengthens their muscles for mark making. Children enjoy activities that promote hand-to-eye coordination, such as ball games.
Brilliant preschool with the most amazing, caring and professional staff. Our daughter loved being at Badger Farm Pre-school. There’s nothing better than knowing and feeling that your child is being well looked after. Would absolutely recommend!
