Beckton Globe

About this day nursery

Beckton Globe, a childcare on non-domestic premises, opened in 1998 and is situated within the Beckton Globe local service centre in London, E6 5JQ. The setting operates five days a week, all year round, with sessions from 10:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 15:00.

It welcomes children aged 1 to 5 years. The day nursery has two group rooms and its own self-enclosed outdoor area.

Beckton Globe currently supports children with special needs and those for whom English is an additional language. The latest inspection on 4th August 2004 found that Beckton Globe provides good quality care for children, with staff working effectively to create a welcoming and stimulating environment.

Children are encouraged to grow in confidence and personal independence through well-organised resources and play materials. The setting benefits from three full-time staff members, over half of whom hold NVQ level 2 or 3 early years qualifications, and receives support from the Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership.
