Blackberries Childcare Group operates year-round over 51 weeks using a stretched funding model. Fees are charged via session packages with a minimum attendance requirement of three sessions per week. Standard rates include daily activities, breakfast, and snacks, while hot meals are optional extras.

How they support every child
SEND provision
Children who are disadvantaged and those who have special educational needs and/or disabilities generally achieve well given their starting points. Leaders and staff work closely with other professionals and attend training to support children's individual needs, such as language development. Appropriate strategies are in place to target children's communication and language development through small group sessions to develop concentration, listening skills, vocabulary, and correct pronunciation.
Outdoor space
Children are supported well to develop their physical skills as they access the large outdoor play spaces in all weathers. Older children enjoy exploring nature in the forest school garden, using their imagination while pretending sticks are play characters from a familiar story book and digging in the mud and scooping up leaves. Younger children develop their core and large-muscle skills by manoeuvring large balls up a slide.

My son has attended here for just over the last year and has now left to start school. I cannot fault the nursery at all. My son went in happy and always enjoyed his day. They supported him through losing his grandad and understanding his emotions. The staff are caring, passionate and approachable and are flexible to suit the child’s individual needs.

We went to view this nursery and it was amazing, the outdoor facility and woodland environment is brilliant and the teams who showed us around were very pleasant. In comparison to local nurseries we viewed the outdoor space was brilliant and I loved their Forest School ethos!!
