Little Learners Childcare, established in 2010, is an Outstanding-rated nursery (Ofsted, June 2023) in Corby, NN17 1EE, providing care for children aged 0-4 years. 30am to 6pm, all year round.

The setting places children at the heart of all activities, with staff providing a warm and caring environment that encourages confidence and skill development. Knowledgeable staff offer a rich variety of stimulating experiences, from babies exploring paint on a garden mirror to older children regularly attending the on-site forest school where they explore willow archways and create clay faces on trees.

The curriculum is well-understood by staff who build on children's existing knowledge, leading to rapid progress in learning. The Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDCo) meticulously ensures an inclusive environment, working closely with staff and external agencies to support children who require extra help, setting targets to ensure their best possible progress.

Staff consistently focus on developing language and understanding, introducing new vocabulary and extending knowledge through diverse activities, including using books to discuss the human body. Children demonstrate exemplary behaviour, understanding the reasons behind rules, and show remarkable concentration, kindness, and respect for their peers.

Independence and self-care skills are fostered as children progress, with older babies learning to wash hands and toddlers serving their own lunch and using cutlery. Parents consistently praise the wonderful relationships with staff and report that their children thrive and make excellent progress in this stimulating environment.
