Blooming Years Nursery Schools is dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children from three months to five years old can thrive. They focus on fostering a friendly atmosphere and equipping children with essential foundations for future development.
The nursery prioritises the happiness and well-being of each child, aiming to raise confident and well-rounded individuals. They believe in building solid and secure foundations through a blend of play-based and adult-led activities, encouraging exploration and experimentation.
The curriculum also integrates strong moral and virtuous lessons to support character development. The team at Blooming Years is deeply passionate about early childhood education, comprising experienced and qualified staff, many of whom are parents themselves.
Safety is paramount, with rigorous recruitment procedures including background checks and ongoing professional development for all staff.
Our ethos
We believe that solid and secure foundations are key to the harmonious development of children. We teach our little learners through a combination of play and adult-led activities, which allows them to explore and experiment in confidence, helping parents raise happy and secure children is one of our top priorities. We teach children strong morals and virtues to support their character development. We ensure that children have plenty of opportunities to learn and practice fundamental inter-personal skills such as; kindness (making others happy, sharing), listening (respect, order), helping others (empathy, caring) and self-control (managing their feelings and behaviour). We treat each child as an individual, using the ways they are most receptive to learning and growing. We simply want your child to be happy and well-rounded.

Inclusion & environment
Staff work effectively with parents and other relevant professionals to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Each child receives care and support that is precisely targeted to reflect their individual needs.
Children are encouraged to develop physical skills and manage risks during outdoor play, for example using a large spin wheel in the garden while learning to use it safely. Children also visit local parks and other community places as part of their wider experiences.
Staff use opportunities to speak in different languages, repeating sentences or words in English and other languages (for example English and Portuguese) to help children who are learning English as an additional language make good progress.
My daughter attended Blooming Years for 3 years and I will be forever thankful for the amazing teachers for fostering a nurturing environment. This has provided her with brilliant foundations, enabling her confidence, curiosity and resilience to flourish. Thank you for loving her so much 😊🥰
Read on GoogleMy 15-month old son joined Blooming Years when he was ten-months old and I am thoroughly delighted with the nursery. The staff are caring, committed and friendly and take huge pride in their work looking after young children. My son adores the nursery staff and is happy to be dropped off in the mornings, waving and smiling at the carers as soon as we arrive. The nursery has a loving, calm and fun atmosphere and is a happy place to be. During the week-long settling in period, staff went to great lengths to find out about my son’s daytime routine and he sleeps and eats as well in the nursery as he does at home. We receive excellent feedback every day, covering what food and how much our son has eaten, as well as sleep times and activities. Staff and management go to great lengths to make the days fun, with a huge range of activities, from painting, book time, music, dance, tennis and messy play. I looked at several nurseries in Wimbledon and thought long and hard about childcare options. But I am glad I went with Blooming Years. I have one very contented son who adores the staff and it goes without saying that I would thoroughly recommend the nursery.
Read on GoogleBlooming years is an absolute gem of a find. Our daughter has been going there since she was 9 months old (now 2) and it has been everything we could have hoped for in a nursery. It feels like an extension of our family, where her individual needs and personality are understood and encouraged. There’s no “one size fits all” approach - they really get to know every child and base their approach and suggestions on that. From the initial settling in sessions to the process for moving rooms, everything is so well thought out and focussed on the individual child. I can’t recommend the nursery highly enough - everyone and everything is just fantastic. She absolutely loves it there and so do we!
Read on GoogleMy son has been at Blooming Years for over two years now, and I highly recommend them. A lot of care and consideration goes into my son’s development and his personal needs and progress. They are always open, listening and eager to get your feedback on the nursery, how it can improve and any other issues you have. The building itself is great, it may not look like much from the outside, but the inside where the children are is very homely, warm and full of life- a key deciding factor for us when we chose Blooming Years- it feels like a home away from home. Which is important when they are so little. They’re also in the process of redecorating and revamping all the areas, so it’s only going to be better. I think the most important factor is my son is happy, thriving and loves his nursery carers and friends.
Read on GoogleAbsolutely fantastic early years provider! I would highly recommend. My child (aged 4) attended from October 2023 - July 2024 after we moved from Essex back to London. It was such an easy transition all-round for my little one. The staff are caring, attentive and go the extra mile to ensure the children are safe, well supported and educated. I love the fact that parents are kept informed regularly about their child's activities, performance and updates each day. Genuine and open communication with Nursery managers and staff. No issue was ever too much. My little one certainly enjoyed their experience and is ready to embark on their new journey at 'Big School'! Big thanks to Jeanne, Jamila, Ms Cindy, Ms Amina, Ms Kirsty, Ms Habiba and ALL amazing staff at Blooming Years!
