How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities by using strategies that meet their individual needs. They provide visual cues, adjust seating and offer extra guidance during activities, and work closely with specialists to ensure children receive the right support.

Outdoor space

Children benefit from activities that help them move and gain control over their bodies, such as climbing and balancing on blocks, riding bicycles, and joining in with movement games. However, cluttered floors in the baby room sometimes make practising walking difficult for babies.

We’re so grateful for the years our son spent at this nursery. He started at 11 months and stayed until just before turning four, and we got to see him grow, develop, and hit all his milestones there. The biggest thing for us was how warm and nurturing it felt at Playdays. Leaving your baby is never easy, but the team made it feel comfortable and reassuring. It’s also been lovely meeting other local families, our son has made real friends there, which has been such a bonus. Thank you for being such an important part of his early years. We wish you all the best!

Our daughter joined Playdays when she was around 9 months old. Playdays is a lovely and welcoming nursery with attentive and hard-working staff. We felt at ease with our daughter attending full time and she settled in straightaway. Thanks to Siobhan and the team for all their hard work!

Since joining Playdays a year ago, my son has absolutely thrived. The care and attention he receives from the staff is outstanding. The teachers are always approachable, supportive, and attentive—not just to his learning and development, but also to his overall wellbeing. I truly value the daily updates I receive, as well as the more detailed feedback during focus weeks, which give me great insight into his progress. The nursery provides a nurturing and caring environment, with a strong emphasis on both mental and physical health. The food is of excellent quality, and I appreciate the effort put into providing healthy and balanced meals. The wide range of activities has helped him grow in confidence, independence, and happiness. His development over the past year has been remarkable, and I am deeply grateful to the team for the positive role they play in his life!

We loved this nursery and its wonderful staff. Our 2-year-old was always excited to go in and came home happy and full of stories. The team were warm, attentive and great at communicating, and the activities really helped him grow in confidence. We only left because we moved house—otherwise we’d still be there. Highly recommend!

Both our children went through PlayDays nursery and couldn't have been happier - nor could we! The team are incredibly caring and kind, and it was a true home from home for our kids from a young age. Now they're both at school, we very miss our PlayDays community!
