Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff recognise that some children need more support in managing their behaviour, following national lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic. Training has helped staff to develop new strategies to address issues such as biting. Managers have introduced resources to help children learn about feelings and emotions.

Outdoor space

All children play outdoors in the large garden each day. They learn to climb, run and ride tricycles. Older children make regular trips to the local common, enjoying activities like "bear hunts" that teach them to manage challenges and risks in the natural environment.

I signed up my daughters at this nursery and they absolutely love it. Every day they come home excited about the many activities they’ve done. The teachers are incredibly kind and caring, which gives me great peace of mind as a parent. The outdoor garden is also priceless, such a wonderful space for the children to play and explore. We’re very happy with our experience here and would highly recommend it

Couldn’t recommend this nursery more highly. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and skilled, creating such a warm and supportive environment for the children. Communication from the nursery is second to none. We receive daily updates in our daughter’s book as well as regular emails, keeping parents informed about upcoming events, schedule changes, and extra-curricular activities. They also organise sessions where parents can visit, meet one another and see their children in the nursery environment, which is a lovely touch and really helps build a sense of community. Our daughter is truly thriving at Playdays and we couldn’t be happier with the care and support she receives.

We honestly can’t recommend Playdays Nursery highly enough! The staff are brilliant and we feel completely at ease knowing our daughter is in such caring and capable hands! She absolutely loves her time there and runs into her key workers arms every morning! It’s so nice to see! The team are excellent at keeping us updated and we love the daily book they fill out with details about our daughters day. The nursery itself is bright, welcoming, and full of creativity, with beautiful displays and a fantastic outdoor space for the children to explore and play. We feel so grateful to have found Playdays and the amazing team who make it such a special place!!
