Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders and staff are ambitious for all children and strive to ensure that those with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive the support they need to help them catch up.

Outdoor space

Children thoroughly enjoy trips to the beach. They relish seeking beach 'treasure' and discuss what they have found with one another. Staff use recent training to teach children simple ways they can have a positive impact by looking after the environment. Children learn about protecting the ocean and engage in mini beach cleans. This contributes towards supporting children to learn about the natural world and life beyond the provision.

I had an unpleasant experience today with one the nursery staff- during a nursery trip in a public place we were also attending. The member of nursery staff made a comment directed at the children she was looking after about myself and my children that I felt was rude and unprofessional. As she was representing your company and is supposed to be a role model to the children in her care I would expect a certain level of professionalism and kindness from her. I believe it is important for staff to maintain a friendly, patient, and supportive attitude, especially when interacting with children and other families that are sharing the same space. This lady would benefit with further training on her people skills.
