Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) works closely with staff, parents and outside professionals. The SENCo has good oversight of all children that have gaps in their development. She ensures referrals and targeted plans are implemented, so children receive early intervention. This has a positive impact on helping children reach their potential.

Outdoor space

The report mentions staff take children on visits to help them learn about people that help us, the local community and the wider world; however, it does not describe the nursery's outdoor space or how children use it.

A lovely team who have made our little one happy and settled very quickly. Not sure what the previous review is all about saying "they made us wait outside" as that's due to covid and the safety of all our kids. Thank you to all the staff at Sussex House Nursery!
