Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
"Parents are happy with the information they receive daily about their children."
"They say that they value the relationship their child has with their key person."
Inclusion & environment
Staff work in partnership with parents and other professionals to help meet children's needs effectively, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
Children thoroughly enjoy the outdoors. Babies crawl, squat and toddle. Younger children walk on beams and jump onto stepping stones, helping them to gain control of their ability to balance. Children choose if they want to play inside or outside.
My daughter attended this nursery and preschool for two years, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it highly enough. From the very beginning, the staff made us feel welcome, supported, and completely at ease. The staff are absolutely amazing — caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children’s happiness and development. My daughter loved going, which says everything. Knowing she was happy, safe, and nurtured made such a difference to us as parents. The care, patience, and warmth shown by everyone there goes above and beyond, and we will always be grateful for the role they played in her early years. A truly wonderful nursery with an incredible team — we’ll miss it so much and will always recommend it without hesitation.
Read on GoogleMy son has been so happy here. The staff are all very friendly, give you detailed updates through the day and at pick-up. He eats all the food and often comes home with artwork that he's been doing. I know they have a visiting music company - which my son has loved and comes home doing all the actions. I have personally benefitted from extra webinars, particularly one on nutrition and food for toddlers. No issues with traffic or parking either. Can't fault it. Thank you for setting my son up so well in his earliest years.
Read on GoogleI couldn't be happier with Boys & Girls Croxley! Initially as a first time mum I was nervous about leaving him - but the team were very supportive and always update the app regularly with pics and activities (they go above and beyond to make his time interesting and enjoyable). All the staff are kind and caring, and my little boy genuinely loves his time there. The reception team are always welcoming and helpful. I do not have a bad word to say about it. Highly recommend!
Read on GoogleOur son has been in this nursery since baby room. It has been an incredible journey. Now he is ready to move to preschool room and every day he is very excited to go to the nursery. He loves all staff members, his key worker, the setting and we always see him smiling and busy enjoying all the activities organized throughout the day. The staff always have been amazing, flexible and caring. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone as it has been so good for our child.
Read on GoogleI’ve had conversations on the phone and in person with a number of different staff since my daughter has started full time in Nov 2024. I have been really impressed with them all and the quality of communication I’ve received. It’s always so hard leaving your baby with strangers and I speak from experience of 3 different well-established nurseries (2 of which were rated Outstanding by Ofsted) that my elder child had been at. The experience so far with Boys & Girls Croxley has been really good. The updates via the Blossom app are prompt throughout the day helping me keep up with my daughter’s experience and reassuring me about her wellbeing. The photos and well thought-out daily activities cover a real breadth of topics and developmental opportunities and I’m seeing the positive changes in her as a result. When she has been unfortunate enough to have little accidents or difficulty falling asleep or being upset, the staff have kept me informed and personalised their response to her by calling and making me aware of all the things they have tried and asking if there is anything else they might be able to do to help her feel more comfortable. She has settled in really well and I would highly recommend this nursery to Others based on my experience so far.
