Bright Horizons operates over 300 nurseries and preschools across the UK, drawing on decades of experience in early childhood education. Their core philosophy, "The Nurture Approach," focuses on fostering both learning and emotional well-being, ensuring children feel secure, loved, and known while developing crucial social and practical skills.
The curriculum, "Bright Beginnings," incorporates five key learning areas through engaging activities and prioritises outdoor adventures, including Forest School and Eco-Schools programmes, to enrich children's development. Understanding the significance of healthy eating, Bright Horizons provides freshly prepared meals with careful attention to allergies.
They offer comprehensive support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and cater to individual routines and preferences, facilitating a smooth transition for new children and families through non-chargeable "Settling In Sessions" up to six weeks before a child's start date. The nursery emphasises building a "triangle of trust" between the child, parents, and their key person to create a supportive and familiar environment.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported. Staff work closely with other professionals to develop high-quality teaching skills to meet the specific needs of children. For example, staff work closely with sign language specialists to support the development of children who have limited verbal communication.
Managers are enhancing the garden area to support the development of children with limited access to outdoor play.
