Inclusion & environment
Children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress due to staff's good understanding of what children already know and need to learn next. Staff work closely with parents and other agencies to review children's next steps and identify when children and families need extra support, with interventions happening quickly.
Children choose to play outdoors for most of the session, which particularly well supports their physical development. They engage in activities such as running, chasing, playing football, and washing ride-on toys, and expertly navigate large climbing and sliding equipment, contributing to their growing muscles and coordination. There are plans to join with the host school to offer a forest school.
