Bright Horizons is an experienced childcare provider operating over 300 nurseries and preschools across the UK. They focus on delivering inspiring learning experiences while prioritising children's well-being and development.
Their unique "Nurture Approach" integrates learning with emotional support, aiming to foster health, happiness, and potential in every child. The curriculum, "Bright Beginnings," covers five key learning areas, incorporating practical and life skills through various activities.
The nursery also places importance on mealtimes, offering freshly prepared food and managing allergies carefully. Outdoor play, including Forest School and Eco-Schools programmes, is integral to their approach.
Bright Horizons additionally offers extensive support for families, including guidance on childcare funding options and a smooth settling-in process for new children, with non-chargeable settling-in sessions offered up to six weeks before a child's start date.

Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress in their learning.
Children enjoy exploring the sensory garden, where they have fun digging for worms and replenish the bird feeders. All children enjoy playing outside, and they have good opportunities to be physically active, with children free flowing into the garden and enjoying climbing equipment and exploring through tunnels.
Excellent nursery / preschool. My child is well cared for and really enjoys their time here. I am kept well informed on my child's progress. The nursery always has new activities following each season for the children. Definitely happy with our choice of using their services.
Read on GoogleWe are very happy with this nursery. They look after my child as if he were their own. The curriculum is great and the children learn loads. The food is excellent and my child loves going to nursery.
Read on GoogleMy child seems happy at nursery, this is why I went for the 2nd star. However, since the Covid-19 situation started, although safety has not been compromised, communication with parents has. With a child that barely speaks, it is very hard to know how is his development, how he interacts with other children and what he learns / does. If I had the choice, my child would be at an other nursery.
