Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders and staff provide exceptional support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. They collaborate closely with parents and carers and professionals to develop personalised plans that include activities aimed at enhancing children's speech, attention and listening skills, which helps to prepare children for school.

Outdoor space

Staff arrange daily outings to nearby play areas due to the limited outdoor space in the nursery. Nevertheless, children still have enjoyable experiences at the nursery. Babies engage in construction and water play, while older children practise safe jumping and balance walking across crates. Staff use this outdoor play to support children's development of their physical skills.

Our daughter has been at Bright Little Stars Stratford since she was 6 months old and we couldn't have asked for a better experience for both her and us. Her smile widens from ear to ear as we arrive and we are always greeted so wholesomely. The staff go above and beyond to make us feel she is safe and adored and we are so happy to see her developing from the huge number of activities the staff put on. From baby yoga, to painting, to dance classes and bubbles our daughter is so well stimulated and looked after. I truly believe she is getting a better life education because of the guys at Bright Little stars and would wholeheartedly recommend to any parents in the Stratford area

My son has been at BLS Stratford for more than two years and he loves it, he is excited to go in the morning and rarely wants to leave at home time! The staff are exceptional, each individual is caring, friendly and incredibly hardworking. We've had fantastic support from BLS regarding my son's development, with regular updates and meetings to discuss his progress. They have a good system for any early SEN children and engage with local services to ensure a holistic approach. The nursery offers lots of extra curricular activities in addition to their lovely environment and garden. The staff are creative with their activities and find ways for each child to enjoy themselves and explore new things. The staff in the kitchen are excellent too, the menus are varied and my son eats really well there. Overall a wonderful place for little ones and a reassuring, supportive environment for parents too!

Our daughter has been at the nursery since February 2022, and has flourished. Without exception every member of staff is engaged, friendly and caring. Daily activities are inventive, varied and always designed to offer something to every child at various stages of development. Our daughter is content and settled and happy to go to nursery everyday. Food is always eaten. The menu changes frequently and always freshly made. Extra activities timetabled throughout the week are also brilliant and great thing for the children to look forward to each day.
