Outdoor space

Children are physically active throughout the day. For instance, babies confidently negotiate the steps and slide on the climbing apparatus in their room. They consistently practise their large- and small-muscle movements through a range of 'hands-on' activities.

Our 19 month old has been going to little knuckles since March and we are so happy with every aspect of the nursery and staff. Our daughter is so excited to go in each morning and we really can tell the hard work that goes into enriching her day by little develops we notice, such as counting on her fingers or pointing out colours. We were a little nervous at first in regards to the outdoor space available, but this has recently been extended and from photos updates, it looks like our daughter loves exploring this area. In addition, the nursery staff take the children to the park which we really appreciate and is something that we’ve found isn’t common practice with other nursery’s. Staff are easily contactable on the app and we get regular photo updates. Great variety of food too (and they somehow get her to eat things she won’t eat at home!) Would highly recommend little knuckles! Really is a great nursery.

Our son has been to Little Knuckles for a year and a half now and is about to transition into the pre-school. We’ve been so happy with how the teachers have supported him. Everyday they’ll do lots of arts and crafts and reading, singing and dancing. The food is great and freshly prepared by the cook on-site. At first, we were confused about dessert being served everyday, but we soon noticed that his relationship to dessert and sweet food is so healthy. He’ll have a little bit and also always be happy with his veggies and fruit. They support his curiosity and learning and talk lots to the children about what they do outside nursery too which is lovely. Our son has made good friends and always tells about the fun he’s having with them which is very cute. Thank you all so much!

I have had a wonderful experience with Little Knuckles Nursery. My daughter has been attending there now for around 7 months and I would definitely recommend it to other parents. The staff is not only well-qualified but also compassionate and caring which creates a warm and nurturing environment for my child. It is clean and a lovely environment, and I feel settled knowing safety measures are in place and procedures are followed. The curriculum is age-appropriate and I can see a difference in my daughter’s cognitive, social, and emotional development. Little Knuckles communication is great! They provide regular updates on my child's activities and learning progress which is always appreciated, especially being a first time mum. The staff are flexible and accommodating, making it easier for me and my husband as working parents to feel at peace knowing our child is in safe hands. I wholeheartedly recommend Little Knuckles nursery for its exceptional care, dedicated staff, and enriching environment. Thank you to the whole team for fostering my child's growth and well-being!

I absolutely love Little Knuckles Nursery! From day one, the team has gone above and beyond to create a nurturing, fun, and safe environment that our child adores. Every morning, our little one is excited to walk through the doors, which says so much about the welcoming, friendly atmosphere the staff has cultivated. The caregivers here are incredible—patient, skilled, and truly invested in each child’s growth. They understand each child’s unique personality and learning style, and they work with them to develop confidence, curiosity, and social skills. The activities are wonderfully varied and well-planned, from creative arts and crafts to storytime and outdoor play. It’s clear that each activity is designed to inspire and teach while keeping the kids fully engaged. We’re also impressed by the level of communication. Little Knuckles has given our family peace of mind and given our child a love for learning that will last a lifetime. We’re so grateful for all they do and highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a place where their child will truly thrive!
