Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff offer consistently high levels of support for children who have additional needs. The special educational needs coordinator in the setting works very closely with parents and external agencies to ensure all children receive the support they need. As such, gaps in children's learning are closing rapidly.

Outdoor space

Younger children learn balance and coordination as they explore physical equipment, both inside and out. This continuously builds on their understanding of how to independently manage their own risks.

the quality of brinds well is going down over the years. They used to have music man coming around and themed learning. Now no more music man to cut down the cost. They just let the kids running around. Lots of incident reports. There are days where my kid was bitten three times in a day! Some of the best teachers left. What they care is filling up all the space. They mandate you to have Monday or Friday in your booking. I know several friends and nct mums who queued for ages (since the kids were born) and found out others with the same number of days requested but joined the waiting list later got in but they haven’t. The admin team is sometimes rude and chaotic. All they care is maximise their booking. Leaving that nursery now.

I couldn’t recommend the nursery more. Both my daughters went to Brindswell and loved it. One of the reasons I chose the nursery was due to the setting as the rooms are really big and there’s lots of outdoor space (in a beautiful village). However, one of the things I love most about Brindswell is the manager Vanessa - she has a genuine love for children and it shows. The staff underneath her follow suit and you can see they genuinely enjoy caring for children. Brindswell isn’t that close to us, but there isn’t another nursery I would have trusted more with my two. I’ll be sad when my youngest leaves soon as I know how much she loves all the staff and her days there.
