Our son has been attending Monkey Puzzle since he was 4.5 months old, he is now 2 years old. We are extremely happy with his level of care that he receives. He loves coming to nursery, and the enjoys the variety of activities that the excellent team provide. The care we’ve received from every member of staff, at all levels, has always been fantastic. Our son loves his time at nursery and we are very pleased in all the progress he’s making. We can see at home the different things he’s being taught at nursery, from sign language, his motor skills and the many varieties of messy play he brings home in his hair! Personally as parents we’ve enjoyed the community feel of the nursery, having attending a few events like the summer fete and the parents first aid training. We can’t recommend Monkey Puzzle enough!

I took my son here for his settling in period and I am deeply appalled. I was not notified that there was an out break of Hand Foot and mouth and my 18 month old has now caught it after being in the nursery for 45 minutes only, meaning the nursery is not being disinfected properly. The workers were stepping on toys with outdoor shoes and not disinfecting them immediately, this shows the Uncleanliness of this nursery. Witnessing workers walking over the children's toys and not cleaning them was alarming. Additionally, hot food was left out for the children and key workers had to remind staff to look over the food as children played close by, again this was alarming as it breached Safeguarding & health and safety procedures. All this happened on the first settling in session for my son. A mother had to leave work early to collect her daughter as she also was not notified and was upset that they allowed her daughter to attend without earlier notice , when she explained her distress, the worker changed the subject and carried on explaining that the little girl had a good day and ate her food. Again, this was alarming disregarding the mother's concerns. My question is if this is happening when i was there , then what is happening when parents are away? I had high hopes for this nursery. Now my child is extremely ill at home and unable to eat due to the lack of consideration for this nursery. I would not recommend!
