How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff use their extensive knowledge and awareness of child development to deliver a highly ambitious curriculum for all children. This helps children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make the best possible progress. The special educational needs coordinator works closely with parents, outside agencies and key persons to put in place achievable targets for children to work towards. This means children with SEND are superbly supported, which helps to prepare them exceptionally well for their next stage, including moving on to school.

Outdoor space

The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.

We looked at a few nurseries/preschools in the area but this one immediately impressed us. The staff are so passionate and caring. My daughter has thrived in this setting. The staff think carefully about the educational impact of each activity and the children are having such a great time, they don’t even realise they are learning. From the amazing forest school to arts and crafts, dance, cycling and yoga, I can’t imagine a better preschool.

We have been so impressed with the pre school. They offer a wide range of activities throughout the day all with a learning element always included. Our son especially loves forest school. They have done an amazing job at making this area a fun and enjoyable space for the children to explore and learn. The team at broad oak are second to none and always put the children first.

My daughter absolutely loves going to preschool. She used to attend a different on and for some reason began getting really worked up about going in but she can’t wait to run up to the door every morning at BOPS. All of the staff are so attentive and thorough. No complaints, just very grateful to have a safe, happy place for my child to be
