Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities achieve exceptionally well from their starting points, building confidence, interacting with peers, and leading their own play. Teaching opportunities are differentiated to support every child, including those with SEND, and staff rigorously assess progress to tailor the curriculum. Staff welcome external professionals to support children with SEND and make reasonable adjustments to create an inclusive environment. Leaders have also ensured staff have attended training to support children with special educational needs/and or disabilities to offer targeted support.
Staff work hard to support children who speak English as an additional language, valuing their cultural heritage and all languages.
