How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are exceptionally well supported. Staff work closely with parents and other professionals to create individual learning support plans, and additional funding ensures children with SEND have the resources and one-to-one support they need to access learning alongside their peers and make excellent progress.

Outdoor space

The nursery innovatively uses space available to develop a well-being garden, creating a space where children feel safe and secure. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.

Don't have anything bad to say about Building Blocks! My daughter has been going since she was a baby and we have never had a problem. My daughter is well cared for, happy and most importantly tells me she's had a really good day each and every time I pick her up. All of the staff are amazing and so attentive, nothing goes amiss! They show genuine empathy and concern for the children and it's clear they want them to do well in all aspects of life. My daughter's speech and manners have come on massively and I have to thank the Building Blocks team for their part in that :)!

An outstanding nursery, my eldest went there from 4 months and now my youngest is there. Amazing, supportive culture. Fantastic staff who genuinely care. It’s always hard when you first drop off your little ones, but from the first time they made it easy and settled straight away. 100% recommend. Great support for siblings, my eldest loves picking her up and they all remember him from when he was in the baby room.

This nursery is amazing! All round my son went here after being unsettled in other nursery's they made him feel at ease instantly, he's in school now and still loves to talk about his time there. My daughter now goes there too and has separation anxiety and again it was handled with the calmest most welcoming manner and she loves it. Highly recommend.

I'm soo grateful for all the amazing, hardworking team members at building Blocks. My son has loved his time here and I've loved seeing him grow in confidence and be happy to attend. There's nothing better than feeling assured your child is left in safe hands and they thrive because of it. I'd be happy to recommend this nursery.

Building Blocks Nursery has been such an lovely experience for my son. He has been going ever since he was baby and now 3 years old, he has become so confident, he’s made lots of new friends and as a single parent the staff have been and continue to be so supportive. I feel at ease knowing that he is safe and care for when I’m working. It’s also secure with a one way in and one way out system which ensures all children and safety! I would absolutely recommend x I’m looking forward to this coming year and my sons achievements !!!
