Extremely Disappointed – Serious Concerns About Care and Management We’ve had a deeply distressing experience with Busy Bees Leicester City. For months, we’ve tried to resolve a billing issue, only to be met with threats, ignored emails, and eventually being sent to a debt collection agency—despite actively trying to sort things out. We were wrongly charged for a month we’d already paid for, and have been chasing a corrected invoice ever since with no response. The manager, Stella, has consistently avoided communication and made no genuine effort to resolve the matter. Our concerns were repeatedly dismissed, and basic professionalism was completely lacking. What’s worse, our daughter—who has a visual impairment—was failed on a much deeper level. Despite receiving clear recommendations from her vision support team, the nursery did not make the required adjustments. Communication around her additional needs was virtually non-existent, and the lack of inclusive practice is unacceptable. We trusted this nursery with our daughter’s care and were met with negligence, mismanagement, and total lack of accountability. We’ve now escalated the matter to head office and will be reporting this to Ofsted if it’s not resolved. Parents of children with additional needs—please be cautious.

“Unfortunately, my daughter only attended for two months, three mornings a week, as they refused full-time under the excuse of adaptation. She didn’t benefit at all, instead picked up negative behaviors, and they didn’t even encourage her to eat.”

Busy Bees is a great nursery. All the staff are so professional, caring, friendly, helpful and supportive and welcoming. They are too passionate about ensuring your child continue to be happy during his time at nursery. They provide the highest quality of care. They keep all parents informed about daily activities, nap times, nappy changes and what the child ate for lunch through a smartphone application. My son has started to attend this nursery for last month and he is so happy. The range of activities the children were involved in is excellent. The rooms and garden are great, large and packed full of toys for the children to explore. Food is homemade, very tasty and healthy. Meals are freshly prepared by nursery everyday. I would definitely recommend Busy Bees Nursery as a safe, fun and excellent care place for children.

He learnt so many good things and Nicky and Asha Makda are still alive in my Son’s memories☺️. It was the best decision to pick this nursery and I don’t regret it for one bit.
