Al-Islamia Institute for Education is a registered charity established in 2006, offering an independent Islamic Pre-School and Primary education for children aged 2 to 11 years old. The institute is dedicated to providing a nurturing and Islamic-values-based learning and teaching environment.
Serving a diverse community, Al-Islamia promotes a mission rooted in "IKHLAS," an Arabic term signifying sincerity and commitment. This acronym further outlines their core values: Inspirational, Knowledge, Healthy Living, Leadership, Aspiration, and Spirituality.
The institute is actively working towards relocating to College Street to expand its capacity for learning and community support. With 13 years of establishment, Al-Islamia has fostered a strong community and, despite financial challenges as an independent school, its staff are committed to delivering engaging learning experiences.
The school aims to not just educate but also equip children with essential self-development and interpersonal skills, empowering them to become confident Muslim leaders and contributors to society.

Inclusion & environment
Leaders recognise when a child may need extra help. They act quickly to ensure additional support is provided to enable children to make good progress.
Children enjoy spending time outside and staff ensure there are a variety of activities on offer. Children access the mud kitchen, enjoy balancing and rolling balls, and staff encourage safe use of climbing equipment in the garden.
Children are given opportunities to practise different languages; they sing songs in English and pray in Arabic. Staff ensure that parents understand communications if English is not their first language.
