Children arrive happily, and are greeted by kind, caring staff, fostering a sense of safety and security that helps them understand and follow nursery routines from a young age. The curriculum is thoughtfully organised to ensure all children make good progress and are well-prepared for their next educational stages, including school.
The focus is on developing children's social, emotional, communication, and physical skills, with staff following individual interests to extend learning. The Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities Coordinator works closely with staff, external professionals, and parents to ensure children with additional needs receive appropriate support.
Children benefit from plenty of outdoor exercise, developing physical skills through activities like exploring low climbing equipment for babies and using pedal bicycles for older children. Staff effectively extend children's communication and language skills, introducing new vocabulary and using various methods, including signing, gestures, and facial expressions, for those not yet verbally communicating.
Children enjoy plentiful stories, rhymes, and songs, supporting their literacy and language development. Parents consistently report happiness with the care and learning their children receive, noting that their children enjoy spending time at the nursery.

The team at busy bees (Barr court) offer a great environment in which the children always seem to be relaxed and happy. Our son, Theo, has been going there for just over 1 & 1/2 years and they have supported his development through every stage and the care given is to a very high standard. I would thoroughly recommend this nursery to any other parent.
