The latest Ofsted inspection, on 22nd February 2023, rated the overall effectiveness as 'Good'. Children are welcomed into a friendly and warm atmosphere where staff build strong relationships with families, ensuring children feel safe and supported.
The pre-school benefits from a well-established key-person system, which helps to extend children's learning in line with their interests. Staff use high-quality interactions and teaching techniques, including rich back-and-forth conversations and modelling new words, to inspire and engage children, fostering strong communication skills and vocabulary development.

The pre-school fosters a strong sense of belonging, and children benefit from a curriculum that incorporates their interests, such as learning about recycling after showing an interest in refuse collectors.
