Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

There are effective systems in place to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Staff seek and embrace support from outside agencies and professionals, using training to devise individual strategies for children, enabling them to be fully included in all aspects of nursery life.

Outdoor space

Staff plan activities for children incorporating their interests; however, they do not always plan enough time for younger children to fully explore outdoors. Sometimes, a smaller outdoor area is offered, which does not consistently support young children's development and engagement.

Our son is just about to leave the nursery after spending two years there. He has always enjoyed his time, always come home happy, plenty of things made and brought home and lots of play in lovely garden, whatever the weather. Lots of effort to include parents and families in events, made for nice community around the nursery. Would happily recommend to friends.

My daughter started in Dec 2021 and has really thrived. All the staff are lovely and care about the children and each other. Great atmosphere, lots of creative and outdoor play in rhe beautiful garden. My daughter is always smiling when I collect her. I believe it wasn't great a while back but the management has changed which has made a big difference to the nursery.

Attended here for a little over a month, this was a few years back and I cannot speak on staff that work there now but when he attended it was run by staff who couldn't give a toss in option I was told I couldn't come I side the nursery (3mins early pre covid) because they don't get paid to have us in there early so was made to stand out in a rain storm with a baby. My son who was a month of turning 2 was put in a room with all of the babies he cries from the moment I dropped him of till I picked him up, he is a out going little boy and has no attachment issues and this showed when we moved him to a different nursery. Over priced under cleaned and just a bad vibe.

Staff are always welcoming and go out of their way to reassure. Great outdoor space and small groups so wasn’t overwhelming for my lockdown baby. Can log in on an app to see what they’ve been up to as well
