The nursery provides a stimulating environment where children are thrilled to arrive, confidently finding their rooms and engaging with a wide range of interesting resources and thoughtfully planned activities. For instance, babies enjoy making animal noises while splashing rubber farm animals in muddy trays, fostering early language development.
Children receive high-quality care and education through exceptionally well-planned play experiences, both indoors and outdoors, which are designed to progressively build on their knowledge and skills. Older children, for example, follow visual instructions to make "play dough pizzas," exploring different colours, textures, and smells while staff skilfully introduce new vocabulary.
The nursery excels in supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and those who speak English as an additional language, ensuring incredible progress. The special educational needs coordinator possesses excellent knowledge to assess and support individual learning, working closely with families and external agencies to create effective support plans.
Leaders carefully design an inspiring curriculum, and staff are warm, responsive, and fantastic role models, resulting in excellent behaviour and a strong understanding of healthy habits from an early age. Partnerships with parents are highly effective, with a parent council and parental involvement in the nursery's development, such as clearing land for an allotment where children grow their own vegetables.
The welfare of staff is also prioritised, with mental health programmes and thorough inductions, ensuring a well-supported and valued team.

2 of my 3 Boys have been and loved this fantastic nursery. We moved here too late for my eldest to go, but I would have sent him too if we lived here earlier. My boys have come on such an incredible journey being with the nursery. The eldest of the two, was very behind in his development and was even seeing specialists for specific things. He is now completely on track it it is absolutely down to the care and dedication of the team at busy bees. Beth the nursery manager is hands down, one of the best Mangers I know. Always gets back to me, has been extremely support of not just my children by myself too. I know any difficulties we are facing I can go to her with open honestly and ill never be judge. I couldn't recommend anywhere more then this nursery for all children. The daily activities are fun and educational, the dedication to self development is fantastic, and the food I know it's top notch. Both my boys have all their food and extras too, and I the smells from the kitchen make my mouth water. The environment has always been, homely, welcoming, clean and exactly what anyone could wish their child to be part of. I just couldn't ask for better And strong 10 out of 10 from me 🙌
Read on GoogleAn outstanding nursery. The manager Manisha demonstrates strong leadership. The environment is warm and welcoming. My child has thrived at this nursery and loved every single minute. She has formed excellent relationships with practitioners.
Read on GoogleI was really nervous about sending my daughter to a nursery having used a childminder for my older child, but Busy Bees is amazing and spent time with my little girl to make sure she was comfortable in the setting. Manisha and the ladies in the Baby room are great with my daughter and she loves it there, running to get her shoes in the morning as soon as nursery is mentioned and gets upset on the days she is not there! Would definitely recommend Busy Bees Kettering :-)
Read on GoogleMy daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 8 months and now she is 3years old in the Preschool room. The nursery has given her so much confidence and really extend their learning through things that we have done at home. This year she will be attending the Forest School which she is very excited about.
Read on GoogleUnfortunately there is not a 0 star option. Busy bees, gave a show when we completed our 'beauty parade' of reviewing local nurseries, unfortunately our experience has been nothing but harrowing for our 3 year old daughter. An example (which was recorded on video and confirmed by the director) a group of 3 year old children were left unattended, completely out of veiw of any staff member while one of many accidents occured which in a short 3 month period consisted of biting attacks (from a known serial biter) who was known to attack other children for a period of 4-6 weeks, head injury - the list goes on. They say the right things but afterall a nursery with a network as large as busy bees you would expect the relevant processes to be in place, the problem is that unless followed are irrelevant. Needless to say DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE
