About this early years setting

Butterflies Preschool in Morecambe provides care and education for children aged from two to four years. The preschool is open Monday to Friday throughout the year, with the exception of a week in August and a week at Christmas. Sessions are offered from 8am to midday and 1pm to 5pm, and children can also attend for the full day. The organisation accepts tax-free childcare payments. An Ofsted inspection in October 2022 rated the preschool as Good.

The inspector reported that children arrive with a smile, settle quickly, and form positive bonds with the staff. Children are supported to become increasingly independent by managing their own personal needs. The curriculum is designed to build on what children already know, and staff promote their communication and mathematical skills. Both the indoor and outdoor environments were described as safe and secure. Parents speak highly of the nursery and feel that staff work hard to meet the needs of all children.

This is a brilliant nursey and I would highly recommend it. My son has additional needs and the senco Hazel and his key worker Ciro have been absolutely brilliant with him. Staff are always polite and give you a good overview of what sort of day your child has had. I will be sad when my boy has to leave
