The nursery offers private day-care services for children from three months onwards, operating for 51 weeks of the year, with closure periods only during Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year, along with two annual training days. Their facilities are open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Butterfly's Day Nursery is committed to high-quality care and education, accepting various government funding schemes and offering a flexible approach to session times, including options for stretching funded hours throughout the year for better child settlement. They also ensure their staff are well-qualified, with a minimum of Level 3 certification or working towards it, and all hold paediatric first aid and enhanced DBS checks.

Meals are prepared on-site by qualified chefs, catering to diverse dietary needs, and the nursery strictly adheres to EYFS guidelines, providing secure learning journals for each child via the Connect Childcare app.

What it's like

Children arrive full of excitement for the day ahead, eagerly coming into the nursery. Staff happily greet children with smiles and hugs. Staff provide an abundance of interesting and purposeful learning opportunities for children, who are motivated and enthusiastic to play and learn.

Pricing & funding

Fees are calculated over 51 weeks of the year, with no charges applied for the Christmas holidays or two staff training days. Invoices are payable monthly in advance via standing order or bank transfer. A small consumables fee is requested for government-funded hours.
