The pre-school operates across two distinct buildings: 'The Bungalow' caters to younger 2 and 3-year-olds, providing a bright and spacious setting with direct access to a secure garden, a 'Forest area' featuring a mud kitchen, and a planting zone for growing vegetables and fruits.

The emphasis in The Bungalow is on free exploration, sensory play, and imaginative activities like painting and building. Older 3 and 4-year-olds are accommodated in 'The Hut', a vibrant space designed to prepare them for school.

Here, children are encouraged to develop communication skills, self-care routines, and engage in imaginative role-play and scientific exploration. Both settings utilise the Tapestry online learning journal to document each child's developmental journey and facilitate communication between staff and parents.

What it's like

Children receive a warm welcome from staff at this friendly setting. Staff are kind and caring and get to know children very well, encouraging them to share news about their friends and families through special books. Children learn to be independent, looking after belongings and the pre-school environment, while also exploring the wider world through activities like growing food in a "pizza garden" and sensory play.

Pricing & funding

Fees are structured by age band for two-year-olds and three-year-olds, with options for morning, afternoon, lunch club, or full-day sessions. Parents can provide a packed lunch or purchase a hot meal. A voluntary consumable charge is applied each term to support the setting.
