Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make excellent progress. Staff ensure individual needs are integral in children's day-to-day experiences in the nursery. Regular assessments of what children know enable the dedicated staff to precisely focus on aspects of learning that follow a clear sequence, promoting new achievements.
The inspector observed activities in the group rooms and garden. She spoke to staff and children at appropriate times throughout the inspection.
Cherry Trees is an exceptional nursery with great facilities and amazing staff. Both my children have attended here. The nursery engages with children's individual interests and supports their unique needs, going beyond expectations, including investing in new assets and resources when a need is identified. Dietry requirements are also very well catered for. Regular updates, photos, reports and delevopment progress are provided via the app and staff also provide feedback on pickup most days. There is also a newsletter providing information on the general themes and activities for each room/age group. It is especially nice to see a nursery with several male staff to provide children with both male and female role models. Our children have been lucky to have exceptional key workers in every room, who have supported their early years development and boosted their confidence and independence. The Childbase Partnership itself seems to be a well run organisation that responds to feedback, recognises the acheivements of their staff, and look to continously improve their services.
Read on GoogleGreat nursery and preschool and would highly recommend. My daughter has been attending Cherry Trees part-time for 3 years and engages with her key worker and friends. The app informs me on what she has been up to so is a subject of discussion on collecting her. Clean facilities, spacious and bright environment for learning. There is emphasis on independence whilst preschool in preparation for school next year so a brilliant start for my little one.
Read on GoogleWe feel very happy that we made an excellent choice with Cherry Trees - the personnel, facilities and learning opportunities provide everything we need to feel we can trust the nursery to look after our very precious boy. He seems to have bonded well with his key worker; she is excellent, especially at keeping us informed with his progress.

Read on GoogleBoth my children attend the nursery 3 days a week and they absolutely love it. The staff are kind, and are totally committed to helping the children develop. Its clean, good value for money and they provide a really good variety of meals which has helped both my children try new things which they wouldn't normally do at home. I'd highly recommend this nursery to friends and family in the future.
